My room
My room is a place where I can escape from the outside world, take a rest and find some privacy. I study, sleep and dream here. I want this place to be comfortable and cosy, full of peace and harmony, a small area where I can feel safe and relaxed.
It’s decorated in a stylish but minimalistic way. Walls are painted green and orange squares cover the two opposite walls. As you enter the room, your attention is attracted to a huge wooden window placed in front of the door. Next to the window there is a small, always messy desk, filled with tons of books. On the right you can see black furniture with many small shelves that can accommodate my huge amount of books and clothes. As you move to the left you find two black leather armchairs, a bit worn out but still very comfortable. In the center of the room lies a woolly carpet which only partly covers the wooden floor. Finally, in the corner of the room, there is a huge antic bed and a little coffee table, in fact, that part of my room is my favourite place. I spend there many hours reading, meditating and studying.
My room is a dreamy place to relax and forget about everyday problems. Moreover, it’s very spatial and functional. I think that there is no other place where I can feel so good as in my own room.
