How I spend my weekends
When I think about weekends I smile. I associate these 2 special days with freedom, a lot of free time and entertainment. I can only regret weekends don’t last longer.
My weekend begins on Friday when I come home after school and extracurricular activities. Usually, it’s quite late so I eat my dinner and go to my room where I play a role-playing computer game with my virtual friends. We play until 11-12 p.m., then I go to bed, watch an episode of my favourite TV series and fall asleep what is not difficult considering how tired I am.
Saturday is my day of sport. I wake up quite early and go jogging. It refreshes my mind and body and gives me strength to handle all the difficulties of everyday life. After an hour I go home to have breakfast with my family. During the week we can’t eat together because of school, work etc. but on Saturdays and Sundays we can enjoy each other’s company. Later, I usually help my younger sister with her homework and I clean my room. In the afternoon I go to the gym and work out. In the evening I always party with my friends. We have a favourite club where drinks are cheap and music is fantastic.
On Sunday I usually don’t do much. I need to rest and recharge my batteries before another week of hard work. I take my dogs for a long walk or work in my mother’s garden. In the afternoon I listen to music, meditate, excercise yoga. Doing that helps me to relax and has a calming effect on me.
In the evening my weekend is over. I take a long bath and go to bed early, I don’t want to oversleep on Monday morning. As soon as another school week starts, I start looking forward to upcoming weekend.
