Would you prefer to live in the city or in the countryside? Why?

I like the idea of living outside a city, but I think that while it may work in the short-term, it won’t in the long-term. The necessity of commuting on a daily basis doesn’t seem convenient. I’d rather have everything close than have to worry about wasting time on a bus to school. Other than that, the city life offers a lot more ways of entertainment and spending spare time as well as developing your pastimes.

I would obviously choose living in the countryside over living in the city. The sole feeling of being close to the nature, surrounded by vast green fields and beautiful landscapes is an advantage that can’t be beat. Also, the ability to enjoy your own organic food doesn’t compare to the processed meals popular among the city inhabitants. You can also practice various sports out in the fresh air, without having to confront huge crowds of people.
