Most of us are curious what other people do every day, but hardly anyone admits to it. The same thing is about soap operas. If we ask someone if he/ she watches them, they often deny. Why is it so? Because they think we will laugh at them. In fact, a lot of people spend many hours a day watching fascinating episodes with flushed cheeks, and as a result this type of TV series keeps breaking the records of popularity all over the world. Soap operas are gripping and we enjoy following various adventures of our favourite characters. Moreover, they are usually not so action- packed that we might lose the plot and they don’t require too much concentration. That’s why everyone can watch it after a tiring day at work or school and just relax.
