What would you take with you to a desert island and why?

I like this question. I would take a bottle of wine, a pen and a piece of paper. After drinking the wine I would write a letter, put it into the bottle, throw it into the sea and wait for the rescue. Seriously? I would take a mobile phone to get in touch with somebody who could rescue me. And in case I had no reception on a desert island, which is very probable, I would sunbathe and swim in the sea all day, only to go to my hut at night and talk to my imaginary friends.
