Staying single may lead to a feeling of loneliness. While all your friends spend their evenings with their significant others, you are left on your own. Also, there is no one you can rely on in your most personal moments of failure or doubt. Another major drawback is the perspective of not having children. You might catch yourself thinking you wish you had someone to start a family with.
