What are some of the nicest Polish traditions?

One of the nicest Polish (and not only) traditions and the one I like the most is Christmas celebration. It is a very special time – on Christmas Eve we prepare a special supper consisting of 12 dishes and later give one another presents that we had earlier put under a decorated Christmas tree. We also wish one another best of luck for the upcoming year and stop holding grudges for at least that one magical day. At midnight all people attend a special mass. During the whole Christmas time we sing carols.
