Should religion be compulsory in schools?

I don’t think religion should be compulsory in schools. That ought to be something churches organize for students who really want to take part in. Kids have to learn a lot of subjects every day and many of them come back home really late. If religion was removed from their timetables at all, they would finish classes earlier and save some time. That would be a good idea especially for the ones preparing for the exams. Statistics show that most children aren’t satisfied with the way this subject is taught in schools and more and more of secondary school students decide not to take part in these classes anyway.
