Do you think that people would be happier if they didn’t have to work? Why / Why not?

I do think people would be happier without work. Having more free time to take care of yourself and your own personal needs is something everybody is today’s world is longing for, but their work always stands in the way. No work would also mean more time for the family, and it is widely known that time once lost cannot be regained, which makes lots of people kick themselves and get torn up between work and people they love. The necessity of finding the work-life balance wouldn’t even exist and not having to manage their time to give their best in both spheres certainly would make people happier.

It is hard to imagine life without work. It is something that everybody is thought to be dreaming about – no work, no worries about the money, lots of spare time… But would it be so nice? I don’t think so too much free time on our hands would simply make anybody feel constantly bored. The best solution would be to work only part time so that people could spend equal amounts of time on making sure both their professional and personal lives are well taken care of. Another thing is professional development, which for many means fulfilling their goals and living their passion – in this case the lack of work could decrease a person’s satisfaction.
