Yes, I do believe that the omnipresent ads have a very negative influence on our lives and the way we live them. Due to numerous techniques that the marketing specialists use to make us purchase a product we don’t actually need – with hidden persuasion being their number one tool – we end up spending our hard earned money on items we never use. This often leads to personal problems like remorse and family arguments, and in more extreme cases even to financial troubles. The purchased goods usually turn out to be not nearly half as amazing as they had been shown to be in the advertisement – this makes us feel deceived and angry.
