Nowadays, celebrities have a huge influence on young people because they started their own YouTube channels and created Instagram accounts where they present idealised images of reality. They use various computer programs to make them look absolutely perfect! Their faces seem flawless and their bodies- much more musculous and beautiful than they really are. Because these people are usually quite rich, they can afford various expensive trips, jewels, flats, luxurious treatments and plastic surgeries. It’s no wonder that so many young people want to be like them and if they don’t manage to do that, they become insecure. When e.g. a young girl realizes that she would probably never look as amazing as her favourite influencer, she may completely break down. That’s why parents should pay attention to who they children follow and often talk to them about it.
