Whenever I visit Cracow, I admire Wawel and its monumental architecture. I take a lot of photos and read fascinating information about it. The Jagiellons commissioned some talented artists to decorate the interiors with breathtaking paintings and richly adorned portals.
The Wawel Royal Castle is very popular not only with Polish people interested in history, but it also draws attention of hundreds of tourists from all corners of the globe.
Because it’s not always easy to get a ticket, I prefer buying it online in advance. Then I don’t have to waste time queuing. Last year my friend from Germany decided to visit me, so I took her to Cracow to show her the Wawel Royal Castle and other tourist attractions. She was so delighted that she didn’t want to leave that place! I completely understand her reaction.
