Opisywanie swojego zwierzątka (Describing your pet) – Example 2

I’ve always wanted to have a parrot, but my parents told me that it wasn’t a suitable pet. According to my father, a parrot would suffer from loneliness at our place, so he decided to buy a cat. It was a right decision because these pets are easy to look after and they are much more independent than parrots or dogs. However, they need your company and aren’r selfless. If it turns out that someone treats them better than you, they will try to leave you.

My Persian cat’s name is Amigo. It means ‘friend’.  Persian cats require daily brushing. I try to pay attention to the areas which Amigo can’t reach himself. I also have to wash it regularly because it’s necessary. Unfortunately it’s not  an easy task because he hates baths. I also try not to overfeed him, as it may lead to diarrhea.

I like my kitty very much and I hope it will take part in the International Cat Show.
