Opisywanie swojego pokoju (Describing your room) – Example 2

I’ve always wanted to have my own room, but unfortunately I have to share it with my younger sister. We live in a flat consisting of two little rooms, so there’s no other way.

Our room is the place where we sleep, play, learn and invite some friends. We can say that it’s divided into two parts. The right one belongs to me, and the left  one belongs to my sister. There are of course two beds, two desks, two lamps and two wardrobes. There’s also a huge window opposite the door and a spotted carpet on the floor. Both me and my sister are keen of listening to music, so there are lots of posters on the walls and a CD player. We also love playing computer games, so there’s a laptop in the room. Our parents don’t want to buy another one, so we have to share it. The ceiling is absolutely fabulous. There are hundreds of special glow-in-the dark planets and stars. They look amazing at night.

The room is great, but it’s a pity that it’s not my own kingdom.
