Opisywanie swojego pokoju (Describing your room) – Example 1

My  room is the best place in the world. It’s quite big and very colourful. There are two sofas next to the window, three armchairs on the right and a desk on the left. There aren’t any posters on the walls because I prefer paintings. My dad is an artist and I like his style very much, so we decided to hang some of the masterpieces in my room. There aren’t any curtains on the windows, just blinds. The floor is covered with a patterned  carpet I got from my grandma last year. I think it looks fantastic. In the middle of the room there’s a round table and a vase of fresh flowers from our garden on it.There are also two big wardrobes. I’m interested in fashion, so I must have a lot of different clothes and shoes.

In my opinion it’s good to have your own room because everybody needs some privacy.
