Opisywanie swojego dnia (Describing your day) – Example 2

I always wake up at 6:30 a.m., but it takes  me about 15 minutes to get up. I’m so tired in the morning that  I hardly manage to get to school on time. My parents tell me that I should go to bed much earlier, but I just can’t fall asleep before midnight. At 6:45 I usually wonder which clothes to put on and then get dressed. Then I have breakfast alone because my parents are already at work. I like eating some tasty toasts, croissants and drinking some milk or orange juice. After that I prepare a packed lunch and go to the bathroom to brush my teeth and apply make-up.

A couple of minutes later I put on my shoes and leave for school. When I’m already there, I change shoes and go to the classroom. I usually do it very fast because it’s already a couple of minutes after the school bell rings. After 6 or 7 hours my mum collects me from school and takes me to the language school. She wants me to learn English and German systematically. At 5 p.m. I come back home, eat dinner and visit friends. I often meet my classmates because we like playing and learning together. My parents think that we just do stupid things, but it’s not true. We often play tennis or really prepare some school projects. When I’m too tired, I don’t visit anybody and stay at home. I often paint or describe my life in the diary.

In the evenings I usually watch my favourite TV series, listen to music or chat online. At 11 p.m. I go to bed and count sheep to fall asleep.
