Put the verbs in brackets into correct forms. Do not use short (contracted) forms of verbs.
1. I wish we (study) more last year.
2. We would rather (pay) by credit card than in cash.
3. They had better (not do) this work.
4. It is high time you (go) to the dentist.
5. It would have been better if they (phone) us.
6. I would rather (go) out tonight.
7. We would prefer (stay) here rather than (go) to England.
8. He would rather they (not listen) to music so loud yesterday.
9. They prefer (play) computer games to (watch) TV.
10. I want to live in Spain but I don’t speak Spanish. I wish I (can) speak Spanish.
