A1.3. In the city
When you live in the city, everything seems to be close. Here you can learn, work, do shopping and go out with friends. It is also nice to organize your week, because it saves your time. For example, every Saturday my parents go to a huge shop and do shopping. They buy food, cosmetics and other things that we need. Every morning my mom goes to the bakery to buy warm rolls for our breakfast. Sometimes she also goes to the grocery to buy vegetables, so that she can cook a tasty lunch for us.
Every morning we leave home. I learn in a school nearby and I go there by bus. My mom is an owner of a restaurant in the city centre and she uses the underground to go to work. My dad usually travels with her first, but after 3 stops he leaves the carriage and goes to the railway station to catch a train, because it is more convenient for him. He works in a small office in the suburbs.
In the afternoons we usually go for a walk or go to the cinema. I like this place, because I would like to be an actress. My parents want me to work in a pharmacy and sell medicines, because my aunt owns one, but I want to be famous and make a lot of money.
